Lahti government agency building serves as the centre of local government and provides a wide range of facilities and services for public administration actors.
The government agency building in Lahti has served as a shared customer service point for public administration since summer 2023 and as a shared work environment for public administration since 2024. The Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY) for Häme, the Development and Administration Centre for ELY Centres and TE Offices (KEHA Centre), the Finnish Tax Administration, the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland, the customer service of the National Enforcement Agency Finland, Business Finland, the Social Insurance Institution Finland (Kela), the National Land Survey of Finland, the Finnish Consumer and Competition Authority, the Housing Finance and Development Centre of Finland, the Häme Regional Office of the Finnish Defence Forces, Customs, Päijät-Häme Legal Aid Office, the office of the Legal Aid and Public Guardianship District of Southeastern Finland, Päijät-Häme Public Guardianship Office, the Finnish Immigration Service and the Prison and Probation Service of Finland operate in the government agency building.

How to reach us and parking
The main entrance is on the Kirkkokatu side of the building between stairwells A-B. Report to reception.
Customer parking at the premises is in the marked spaces on the Kirkkokatu side and requires a parking disk. Parking places for employees are around the building and require a parking permit.
Customer service point
The Social Insurance Institution Finland (Kela), the Finnish Tax Administration, the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, the National Land Survey of Finland, the National Enforcement Agency Finland and the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY) for Häme provide services at the shared customer service point for public administration. Besides the authorities’ own experts, a service adviser works at the shared service point to advise customers on how to deal with the authorities and provides support with e-services.
The shared service point seeks to improve customer experience by providing services effectively and effortlessly on a one-stop-shop basis.

Compass Group’s Lahden virastotalo restaurant on the 1st floor of the government agency building is open to everyone.

Meeting rooms for actors in the building
The meeting rooms in the conference centre are for the exclusive use of actors in the building. Room reservations, catering arrangements and visitor registration are made directly through the e-service facility reservation system.
