Valimontie government agency building, Kouvola
The government agency building on Valimontie serves as a centre for public administration and provides a wide range of facilities and services for public administration actors.
The existing multi-activity environment in the government agency building located at Valimontie 5 in Kouvola was remodelled into a modern shared work environment for 10 central government actors. In addition, a shared customer service area was created in the building to bring government services centrally close to citizens. The premises in their entirety were opened in spring 2024.
The Finnish Tax Administration, the Government ICT Centre Valtori, the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, the National Land Survey of Finland, the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland, the Arts Promotion Centre Finland, the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom, the Finnish Consumer and Competition Authority, Defence Properties Finland and Senate Properties operate in the shared work environment.

Part of the customer service premises can also be used as a remote service space. Providing services remotely improves access to services and reduces the need to travel. The remote access solution is being developed in the remote and interpretation service project being implemented in the context of the project to renew central government’s service and premises network.
Meeting rooms for central government actors
